Sara Ferguson, a 1993 graduate of Stroudsburg High School,
completed her course work at Wagner College in December of 1996 with a
major in Music and a minor in Biology. A prolific performer, she has been
seen with The Shawnee Playhouse, Pennsylvania Repertory Company,
Center Stage Players, Worthington Players, Pocono Choral Society,
Pocono Lively Arts, Shawnee Opera and Maine Grand Opera. Sara has
sung such roles as Mabel in
The Pirates of Penzance, Valencienne in The
Merry Widow
, Musetta in La Boheme, Lucy in The Telephone, Cherubino in
La Nozze de Figaro, Despina in Cosi fan Tutte, Peep-Bo in The Mikado, Laurie
in
Oklahoma, Diana Deveraux in Of Thee I Sing, Lily in The Secret Garden,
The Witch in Into the Woods, Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Amy in
Company and even had a song written for her to be added to the part of
Belle in
Tiny Tim's Christmas Carol.
As a non-singing  actress, some of Sara's favorite roles include Alice in
You Can't Take it With You, Roz in Moon Over Buffalo, Nikki in  Musical
Comedy Murders of 1940,
Elizabeth Proctor in Arthur Miller's The Crucible,
Hanna and Bunny in California Suite, Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Viola in
Twelfth Night, and
Catherine in Proof. This spring, she can be seen with
Penn Rep as The Nurse in
Romeo and Juliet and as Carol in Snapshots with
Shawnee Playhouse.
Most recently Sara had been seen in 'An O'Henry Christmas' 'Love in a
Time of War', and 'A Wee Bit O' the Irish' all at Shawnee Playhouse.
Upcoming engagements include Marion in 'The Music Man' and Lily in
'The Secret Garden' this summer at Shawnee.
Sara is a wife and mother of three: Catherine - 7, Sophia - 4, and Gabriel -
17 months. She also served as President and Owner of Fergus & Clark
Academy for the Performing Arts, Inc.
